K-K-K Katie, beautiful Katie....

Traits: Katie is pictured as a cute, blonde, petite athlete with an entertaining style.
Yeah, not so much at all. Perhaps the cute bit. And also the entertaining.
Famous people with this name: the movie The Sons of Katie Elder; Steely Dan's song "Katy Lied"; the song "K-K-K-Katie, Beautiful Katie"
And about a billion more, both people and songs.

What I'm more impressed about is that Lynn found a song using Genevieve. Not too many of those floating around out there.

And for some reason Kathryn isn't a name? I suppose it's under Katherine, but still.

I always loved this. :)
Traits: Katherine is pictured as an old-fashioned, motherly woman who is very nice.
Could this be the reason I don't go by Kathryn?
Famous people with this name: Katherina in Shakespeare's play The Taming of the Shrew; actress Katharine (On Golden Pond) Hepburn; novelists Katherine Mansfield, Katherine Anne Porter
What Mawrtyr wouldn't want to share Katharine Hepburn's name? :) (And o so many of us do....)

Becky brought up some interesting points about nicknames... here's her post and my comments on the subject.

Recently finished reading: Burning for Revenge, John Marsden.
