I never thought I'd see the day

when I'd be (willingly) going to a William Finn musical! My only defense was that I had no idea Finn was associated with the play when I accepted the offer. Genevieve got tickets to The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for $3 through Ticketmaster, so of course I said I'd go--even high school musicals aren't that cheap anymore! And frankly, it would be ridiculous to not go in protest of William Finn. ;) It looks amusing enough, anyway. I'll just enjoy going to a show. And getting to dress up, since it's a gorgeous day out there and I haven't worn a skirt in forever.

Three days down! Only nine and a half weeks left!

Also, I've had a sudden explosion in readership, according to my map. Or maybe the spammers have found me.
ETA: Oh, not those 35 messages. Those are all legitimate. There is a very vocal William Finn fan club. ;)

Still reading: You guessed it. I've gotten through maybe 10 pages in the last few days. I hope this is not the beginning of the "you'll never have time to read for fun again!" phase of teaching...
