Was watching Pirates of the Caribbean this weekend and noticed something I'd never seen before (which I think would be practically impossible, given how many times I've seen that movie). In the scene where Jack and Will are inspecting the crew, Jack is holding a banana the entire time. I caught it at the beginning of the scene and then again at the end when Gibbs is protesting that it's bad luck to bring a woman on board and then Jack says "It would be far worse not to." I can't help but feel that it's related to that last line, which I've always found ambiguously insinuating. Is Jack referring to the consequences of not having a woman on board? The consequences of leaving Anna Maria behind? One can only wonder...
I love this movie. Can't wait to see the second one.

Hahaha...would have been a great spot for the joke about having a banana in one's pants...
Um....you only just noticed that? Becky definitely pointed it out to me quite some time ago... I really thought you were there.
Yeah, I really just did....so either I wasn't there, was totally not paying attention, or have a memory like swiss cheese. ;)
