The students were well-behaved! I needed this; I needed a day to not feel like a total failure. And this is the kind of constructive criticism I can use.
Hee hee, I just saw that I had 123 posts. :) Welcome to Sesame Street! Today's post is brought to you by the letter "P," for "I just got a palm tree today!" One of the elementary ed people who knows my roommate got the plant, but her rooms don't get enough sun, so she gave it to us. I should remember to water it tonight, or at least see if my roommate did before she left.
Apparently teaching well gives me energy! Which is good because I continuously have a lot to do.
Currently reading: Back to The Count of Monte Cristo if I ever get a chance. It would be really nice to finish before spring break, but I'm not keeping my hopes up, as I have a poetry unit to design before then. Any suggestions of poems that are good examples of verse forms to teach? (ie. sonnets, ballads, lyric poetry, elegies, odes, villanelles, etc.)
