Just got back and already homesick

Or rather, I think I'm homesick for the people I haven't been around at all...apparently some quality BMVCOE time is way overdue. Or I just didn't get enough hugs over break. Or maybe I'm just having some extremely misdirected emotional stress over teaching tomorrow. Whatever it is, it's depressing.

That being said, I'm thankful for having such wonderful friends, and for friendships that withstand all tests of time and distance (perhaps particularly Kirstin's--Happy Belated Birthday, by the way!). For a wonderful--and healthy!--family, even though they did get kind of scary with all that talk of having (apparently now Commissioner) Miller do a background check on Matt. :\ For a potential romance. For random people here who seem to like me, and who see a lot more of the real me than I anticipated. I'm thankful for the chance to keep learning, for the chance to know (at least generally) what I'm going to do next year for once, and hopefully for the chance to get a job that pays enough for me to pay all my bills and have my own place. Love to all and sundry.
