30 slightly re-used unique questions

Stolen from Rachel, who stole them from Julia... ;)

1. When you looked at yourself in the mirror today, what was the first thing you thought? Wow, my hair is going nuts.

2. How much cash do you have on you? $11 and some change. Ironically, not only did I not have to change Rachel's answer, it's more than I thought I had.

3. What's a word that rhymes with "DOOR"? Poor.

4. Favorite planet? Um...Earth is the one I think about the most...but Uranus is a pretty color.

5. Who is the 4th person on your missed call list on your mobile? My brother Francis, I think.

7. What shirt are you wearing? The Snoopy/Joe Cool Williamsburg t-shirt I got and got stained the first time I washed it.

8. what do you "label" yourself as? Um...a person? What are you looking for here?

9. Name the brand of shoes you're currently wearing? I'm not wearing shoes.

10. Bright or Dark room? Bright, unless I'm watching a movie.

11. What do you think about the person who took this survey? I think she's wonderful, that I'll have to keep her from spoiling my future children, and that I haven't seen her in a long time, by our standards, which hopefully we can reconcile when she comes home for easter?

13. What were you doing at midnight last night? I was in the car on the way home from watching my sister perform in her college production of Neil Simon's Rumors. And it was wonderful!!

14. What did your last text message you received on your mobile say? From Becky, wondering if I had gotten her messages.

15. Where is your mailbox? Outside the house, between the sidewalk and the street.

16. What's a word/phrase that you say a lot? "Thumb down" probably ties with "Nice hands." Wow, that looks really strange. Especially to anyone who doesn't work in special ed.

17. Who told you he/she loved you last? Probably my mother.

18. Last furry thing you touched? Major the therapy dog.

19. How many drugs have you done in the last three days? TV, books, and desserts.

21. Favorite age you have been so far? 20-21 was a good year...not even because of the drinking, more so because we had the freedom to travel, do JYA, and we didn't really have the pressures we did senior year.

22. Your worst enemy? Complacency, food, and laziness.

23. Current thing on your desktop? We still have the same cloudy sky wallpaper that came with the computer. I'd hate to tax it with something more difficult.

24. What was the last thing you said to someone? "I'm going online now."

25. If you had to choose between a million bucks or to be able to fly what would it be? I think the million bucks, because I have a sudden urge to be able to travel and I have the least amount of money in my bank account than I have in years. I guess that's what happens when you buy a car and pay off student loans.

26. Do you like someone? Romantically, no one in particular; platonically, quite a few.

27. The last song you listened to? "Street of Dreams" by...a band I can't remember, on my Dublin to Dakar CD Becky gave me for...either my birthday or Christmas several years ago.

28. If the last person you spoke to was getting shot at, would you jump in front of the bullet? Um...I can't think of any reason why someone would be shooting at my mom...but I don't know if I would jump in front of the bullet. I think my intent in such a situation would be to push her out of the way.

29. If you could punch 1 person in your life right now, who would it be? Probably my little brother, because he's the only one who routinely deserves a punch.

30. What is the closest thing to your left foot? Some sound componant for the computer that I probably should not put my feet on, but I always do anyway.

Just finished reading: Anansi Boys, by Neil Gaiman. I know a lot of people said they were disappointed with this book, but given that I have read American Gods only once, and that two years ago, I was very happy with it. I actually took a break in the middle of reading it, sympathizing too much with the problem of having parents who continually embarrass you and siblings who tend to show you up. But I got over it and finished the book, and I was glad I did. I also thought it was fun that he dedicated the book to all his readers (in language reminiscent of that in Good Omens) and that Holly got a shout out too.

Interesting that you said "poor" rhymes with "door".... I would say that "pour" rhymes with "door" and "poor" rhymes with..."moor" or "sure" I guess. Also, did you realize what you were saying when you complimented Uranus on its color? LOL.

*sigh* Why does everyone get juvenile over the mention of Uranus?

Because secretly they are delinquents that can't even spell Uranus let alone grasp its a planet
